Think it is clear by now that I’m absolutely in love with Minions. With Christmas nearly knocking on our front door I wanted to make something special this year. And it’s going to be special as this year I’m going to have a Minion inspired Christmas Sock :)

Minion-inspired Christmas Sock/Stocking pattern

  4. So cute! Great idea to go with Minion hats. I will definitely make these next year for my great grands.
    Thank you,
    Pat

  5. my grandson is crazy about minions and so this will make him so happy.

  6. I’m a supervisor for a 911 dispatch center. I’ve made something for the dispatchers on my shift for the past few years. Minions have been a theme: hats and fingerless hand warmers. I think this year they will be getting stocking – and I’d best get busy!

  7. I just finished the stocking part of this project and I have a question. I’m seeing a very prominent diagonal line on the front of the stocking where the rows were joined. I’m wondering if anyone else has this issue or if it’s just because I’m still pretty new to crochet.

Here is what the front of the stocking looks like.

Cute project, but I’d really like it not to have the diagonal line so any advice would be great. Thanks!

      Hi Jessi,

There are a couple of things you could do. The easiest is if you don’t join the rounds at the end for the upper bit of the stocking. When you come to the colour change you just need to replace the first st with a sc and then change the colour (otherwise you’ll have a small hump). Also at the end before fasten off add make an additional sc in the next st. Hope that helps and please let me know how you get on :)

      • Thank you, San! I will be trying that with the next stocking. I really appreciate your advice! <3

  9. I love your pattern! I’ve made one already but wanted to check if it was ok to sell the finished products in my shop with a link back to the post and pattern?

Thanks Amanda! Yes no problem you’ll allowed to sell the finished item of all of my patterns just not the pattern itself. :)
